HOW TO MEASURE

General Guideline

  • Ensure that the tape is flat, not too tight and level with the ground surface.
  • Use the chart below to determine your size. If one of your measurements is on the borderline two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.
  • If your measurements for hips and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, order the one indicated by your hip measurement.

Women's Bras

  • Wear a thin, unlined bra. If you can, get someone else to measure you.
  • If you measure yourself, stand in front of a mirror and practice perfect posture and make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor.
  • Besides the recommended bra guide line, it’s more important how the bra feels on your body.
  • Take your time to adjust your bra, as a proper fit is crucial for breast support.
  • The band plays a crucial role in you support and it must sits firmly; level at the front and back and two fingers can slide inside the clasp.
  • As sport bra, protection and support are the priority also when it comes to the cup, there are no gaps and no bulges.
  • When the straps are correctly placed, they lie flat and they mean to balance your breasts not hoist them.

Bodyguards

1- The Bodyguards are certified CE Class 1 Medical device and it is always advised to consult your doctor or your therapist when it comes to get the right size for any bodyguards. Indeed depending of the severity of the problem, your own physiology and stage of recovery, it is or not recommended to wear a too tight bodyguards.

REMEMBER: the ACCAPI Bodyguards are using the FarInfraRed (FIR) technology and the FIR benefits and effect have nothing to do with the tightness of the bodyguard. Also the tightness can be important for ankle, knee, elbow for example as subject to constant movement depending on the trauma your are suffering and the level of support required.

As a guidance, we recommended for whatever bodyguards that you consider the followings:
  • Take the right measurement and do not be shy to ask someone to assist you
  • Ask yourself for which type of activity you want to use it:
    • Every day: we recommend less tight for more comfort.
    • Intense work-out: we recommend tighter to avoid additional possible issues.
    • Casual activities: trust your feeling considering that the bodyguard must be worn at least 6 hours a day to provide its full benefits.

2- Each bodyguard required a special measurement as we try to provide the best size matching as possible. The picture and tabs below give you the various possible measurement required depending on the bodyguard of you choice and sizing guide.
Repeat each measurement to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.

If one of your measurements is on the borderline of two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.
